I’m so excited to be participating in a sketchbook circle. I am part of the OCA discord group and there are a number of students who are taking the sketchbook module, part of which encourages them to participate in a sketchbook circle.
The circle is a collaborative project where we each select a sketchbook (no bigger than A5), and a topic. We then create 10 pages (5 double sides) following our topic, and then post the sketchbook to the next person on the list.
We then will receive a sketchbook in the post with the next person’s topic. We have a month to fill out the 10 pages based on the topic written in the sketchbook and, once again, post it to the next person in the list.
The sketchbooks will be completed by each person in the circle and will eventually be posted back to the original owner with with everyone interpretation of your theme.
